This is my character sheet for the TBoS OCT. Picture by
Name: Deborah (Deb) Grierson Age: 26
Physical description: She’s slim, but muscular. At around 5’8, she’s rather tall for a woman. Her skin might have been pale white at one point, but it’s so smeared with dirt, grime, oil, and sweat that it’s near-impossible to tell. Her clothes are cut for a man, and rather large on her, but not quite large enough to be a bother. Her hair is dirty blonde, though it’s just as filthy as her skin, and her left eye is a gray-blue. Her right is missing. It has been replaced with a wine red glass ball, held into her face with a bronze frame that is screwed into her skull. It can move in any direction. There is a hairline crack in it, but it’s not large enough to cause too much bother. She could be described as pretty, if she were clean, but she’s too grimy to tell. She has a few scars, none of which are particularly visible, except for very heavy scarring around her glass eye. Her hands are heavily calloused from hard labor. She’s also rather well endowed, if you catch my drift.
Chosen by: Lady Ink
Gift description: A gear that fits into the palm of her hand. Deb perceives the gear as machinery.
Personality Gruff and rather cruel at times. She’s easily angered and quick to retort, with a tongue almost as sharp as a razorblade. She’s got a sailor’s mouth and uses it. She prefers to think of herself as a man, and if anyone tries to treat her like a lady she won’t hesitate in hurting them. Badly. She tends to cover herself up with rudeness and mockery. She’s far quicker to get into a fight than talk something out; she’s not the best at negotiations. If she messes something up she will immediately pass the blame to someone else, willing to lie through the teeth to keep from getting into trouble. Beneath all of this, however, she’s kind and will do most anything to help a friend. She’s not a killer; she’s incapable of doing something like that.
History Deb grew up on the streets of a town in England, next to the ocean. Competition for food was difficult, as she was one of the younger ones on the street, but she got by. After stealing some bread from a shop, she ran into a rather eccentric man by the name of “Jitters”. He offered to get her out of the city if she would do something for him. She accepted without a thought. After she’d done this favor he took her onto a pirate ship called the Red Fancy. She grew up there, as the assistant to the engineer. As she got older she developed an alcohol and gambling addiction; a very dangerous combination. As time wore on, she got into debt with the captain. Soon he decided that he wasn’t going to wait any longer, and if she couldn’t pay, she’d have to pay him in another way. She jumped overboard in order to escape the consequences. By some small stroke of luck she was picked up by a Navy ship. She took a job there, not telling anyone of her past.
Abilities Not many. She’s physically strong and has a plethora of tools in her belt that she has a tendency to use as weapons, and can hold her liquor well, but that’s about it.
Heee. ;3 The breathing opposite of my Masque in manner. I dearly hope we both get in, if only to see... *sees other comments of this nature* Ah. _^ Should be pretty self explanatory when everyone wants to meet her.
Oh, she surely would be a great opponent. *grinning* Especially with poor D who always uses his set phrases... D: Milady, very pleased to - *BAMM* ... Oh yes. I can imagine that very well.
